No stage fright

No stage fright (NSF from now on) is a project that was born in November 2014 as a hobby. For as long as I can remember I like to write and I love movies and series so I decided to create a website where I could share my reviews about them.

Evolution

NSF starts as a blog on blogspot, but after a few months I decided to convert it into a professional website. At that time (March 2015), it sounded like Greek to me, but I managed to defend myself.

My curiosity and desire to learn made me improve little by little to the point where we are now: a professional website with +35,000 monthly visits and +32,000 followers on social networks.

Many hours of work later I finished the current website. All the graphic resources that NSF uses are designed by me. Logos, mockups and all kinds of posters for both web and RRSS. The web design has evolved over the years.

The best colors for a website like this are black and white. This is the most interesting way to focus all the reader’s attention on the articles: the color of the photos stands out more on a black and white background than on colors.

Press

Thanks to NSF I work with Netflix and HBO Max press center since 2016 and with Amazon Prime Video since 2018. In 2020 we started in Filmin‘s press center. What does it mean to be in the press center? Invitations to previews plus screeners (access to series or movies before their world premiere). Being able to watch series such as Narcos or The Haunting of Hill House or before their premiere.

NSF remains to this day a hobby that I am as madly in love with as I was in 2014, that has helped me in my professional career both to learn and grow and to which right now I can’t dedicate as much time as I would like but I hope it will be present with me for many years to come.
